Living with Lions is a research and conservation group in Kenya, and Lion Guardians is a program designed to reduce pressure on lions by employing local Maasai warriors to protect the lions from illegal killing.
In April of this year, the Lion Guardians received a Wingscapes BirdCam as a gift from Sheri and Owen Hogle from the Wild Bird Center in Utah. Since then they've been putting their BirdCam to good use!
They have set up their BirdCam to take photos of wildlife around camp. So far, they've captured some beautiful birds, and even a snake!
We love to keep an eye on their blog and can't wait to see more photos from Africa.
